Epoxy coating or self-leveling epoxy?
The right choice depends less on the product name and more on the floor condition, operating environment and finish the customer actually needs.

Choose a thin epoxy coating for practical protection
A thin-coat epoxy system is often suitable for warehouses, workshops and general production areas where the objective is a clean, colored and maintainable surface. It uses less material, is generally faster to install and can be easier to refresh when the service conditions are moderate.
Choose self-leveling epoxy for a smoother, more continuous finish
Self-leveling epoxy creates a thicker, highly uniform surface. It is commonly selected for electronics, pharmaceutical, clean production and commercial environments where appearance, seamless cleaning and a smooth mirror-like finish are important.
Check the substrate before choosing either system
Moisture, cracks, surface strength, contamination and existing coatings can affect both systems. A sound specification starts with substrate inspection, traffic type, cleaning chemicals and expected downtime—not simply a fixed layer count.
