1. Substrate Preparation

• Existing coatings: Completely remove all loose, blistering or peeling paint down to a sound, cohesive substrate.

• New cementitious plaster: Cure for a minimum of 28 days to allow full hydration and alkali release, preventing efflorescence.

• Defects: Fill holes and cracks with plaster or putty. Allow to dry, then sand flush.

• Cleaning: Remove dust, grease, efflorescence and friable particles to achieve a clean, solid surface.

2. Application

• Primer:

Thoroughly mix and apply the primer evenly on the prepared substrate.

Allow primer to dry for a minimum of 2-4 hours before proceeding.

• QM20 Antimicrobial & Easy-to-Clean Latex Paint:

Thoroughly mix Part A and Part B of the epoxy compound until homogeneous.

Apply first coat thinly and evenly with a roller.

Allow 4 hours drying time (until touch-dry).

Apply second coat thinly and evenly.
