1. Substrate Preparation

• Cleaning: Ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free of oil, grease, dust, dirt, and ponding water.

• Repairing: Fill all cracks, pits, and surface defects to achieve a smooth, level substrate.

• Surface Grinding: This creates a texture for optimal paint adhesion.

• New Concrete Floors: Allow new concrete to cure completely before application (minimum 10 days under summer conditions, 20 days under winter conditions).

2. Application

• DP04 Water-Based Epoxy Floor Coating Primer:

Thoroughly mix Part A and Part B of the primer compound until homogeneous.

Apply the mixed primer evenly on the prepared surface.

Allow primer to dry for a minimum of 8-12 hours before proceeding.

• DP04 Water-Based Epoxy Floor Coating Finishing Coat:

Thoroughly mix Part A and Part B of the epoxy compound until homogeneous.

Apply first coat thinly and evenly with a roller.

Allow 8-12 hours drying time (until touch-dry).

Apply second coat thinly and evenly.

3. Curing & Protection

• Keep the surface dry and avoid any water contact for 7 days after application.

• Protect from heavy traffic, equipment, or concentrated loads for 7 days to allow the material to cure fully.
