1. Substrate Preparation

• Cleaning: Remove all loose/flaking old paint, rust scale, heavy corrosion buildup, oils, and dirt from the surface. Ensure the substrate remains dry.

• Leveling: Repair uneven surfaces with cement mortar or hydraulic cement-based leak-stopper.

• Sealing: Apply penetrating sealer/primer to friable/dusting substrates.

2. Application

• Apply first thin coat. Allow 4-hour drying until touch-dry. Apply second coat. (Following the principle of "thin and multiple layers", it improves the service life of the waterproof layer.)

• Crack Repairing:

≤2mm cracks: Apply first thin coat. Embed polyester fabric reinforcement while wet, and then apply a second coat to cover it.

>2mm cracks: Pre-fill with rapid-setting cementitious mortar. Proceed with standard coating system.
